Pulp Series investigates the fundamental structure and architecture of nature’s instinctive procedures, formations and energy. Particularly, this series explores the contained energy which forces growth and change, such as in living organisms, pinecones, stalagmites to coral reefs and land formations. Also, this work explores the dysfunction of systems to communicate with the whole body and the interrelated fluid parts that flow together.
This work references the essential core of skeletal structures and investigates and experiments with diverse concepts, materials and processes not seen in the traditional arts. Specifically, the material and methods used assist in the sculptural exploration and abstraction of contemporary figuration and structures in various stages of growth and decay.
