Flux Series explores fluid connections and movements of body and time. The material and methods used in the creation of this work embrace the possibilities of alternative installation strategies and challenge the plinth and pedestal. This mixed-media piece is formed by hundreds of layers of paper that are woven together to create circular shapes. Each form is pigmented, stiffened with liquid starch, layered and installed together. This work is incredibly light weight because of the materials used and the audience has the opportunity to interact in an intimate way.
